Towards the end of a contract to build a new club house for Saffron Dynamo Football Club it was considered that the main lobby entrance doors and club house exit doors should be of steel construction in lieu of the intended timber construction. A quotation was submitted for consideration on 21st June.
Two pairs of identical doors were specified. The doors were to have deadlocks with euro profile cylinders with internal thumb turns. External DDA compliant 450mm long stainless steel pull handles were required to both leaves. Internal stainless steel push plates were included with door closers to both leaves. The closers were to incorporate holdback devices so that the doors could be left fully open if required. Each leaf was to have two 152mm w x 762mm h vision panels which would be positioned to be DDA compliant. The vision panels had double glazed units with 6mm laminate glazing. The passive leaves would to be fitted with a pair of edge fitted flush bolts. Both doors were to open outwards, for added security, and the right hand leaves, viewed from inside, were to be the active leaves.
The Contractor placed an official order on 21st June and a site survey was arranged with the Site Agent for 22nd June. Manufacture was processed to comply with the site survey and installation carried out on 14th July to the clients satisfaction.
